At PwC, our people in information technology operations focus on managing and maintaining the technology infrastructure and systems to provide smooth operations and efficient delivery of IT services. This includes monitoring network performance, troubleshooting issues, and implementing security measures. Those in IT operations support at PwC will focus on providing technical assistance and troubleshooting to provide smooth functioning of IT systems and non-cloud based infrastructure. Your role will focus on providing L1 and possibly L2 support.

The Opportunity

As a PwC Tech/NIS Innovative Technologist - Intern, you will immerse yourself in the dynamic world of IT Operations Support, gaining hands-on experience in supporting and managing IT services to meet the needs of internal users. As an Intern, you will engage in learning and development activities, supporting teams with basic tasks, and observing professional work environments to build your personal brand. This role offers a unique chance to contribute to projects while gaining exposure to PwC's practices and methodologies.

Responsibilities

- Supporting IT operations by assisting in the management and delivery of technology services
- Participating in the development and implementation of IT business strategies to align with organizational goals
- Assisting in the monitoring and management of network security incidents to maintain operational continuity
- Engaging in stakeholder management by organizing and improving relationships with key stakeholders
- Contributing to enterprise architecture planning and execution to support business technology initiatives
- Assisting in the troubleshooting and resolution of IT issues to validate smooth operations
- Participating in disaster recovery planning and implementation to safeguard IT infrastructure
- Collaborating with teams to enhance IT project lifecycle processes and outcomes
- Learning and applying technical skills in artificial intelligence and business technology to support IT operations
- Observing and participating in IT operations support tasks to gain practical experience and exposure

What You Must Have

- Currently pursuing or have completed a Bachelor's degree
- Intern positions are entry-level roles intended for job seekers who are in their third year of a four-year degree program or fourth year of a five-year program at the time of application. Summer internships typically take place during the summer preceding the student's final year of school

The salary range for this position is: $29.25 - $48.00. For roles that are based in Maryland, this is the listed salary range for this position. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications and location, and applicable employment laws.
