Those in financial due diligence at PwC will focus on providing strategic advice and business diligence services to clients in their mergers, acquisitions and divestitures. You will be responsible for analysing financial information focusing on quality of earnings and assets, cash flows and other key client deal issues.

As a Deals - Financial Due Diligence (FDD) Associate, you will engage in the meticulous examination of financial records to understand the composition of a target firm's financials and analyze the main drivers of its financial performance. As an Associate, you will focus on learning and contributing to client engagement and projects while developing your skills and knowledge. You will be expected to build your analytical skills, adapt to a fast-paced environment, and support senior staff in delivering quality work.
In this role at PwC, you will be part of a dynamic team that specializes in financial due diligence, financial forecasting, and financial statement analysis. You will have the opportunity to work on mergers and acquisitions, providing valuable insights for our clients in the finance industry. Responsibilities
- Conducting financial due diligence to assess the financial health and performance of target companies
- Analyzing financial statements to identify trends and provide insights for mergers and acquisitions
- Supporting deal management activities by coordinating and structuring business transactions
- Utilizing financial modeling techniques to evaluate potential investment opportunities
- Applying cost accounting principles to assess the financial impact of business decisions
- Performing industry trend analysis to inform strategic recommendations for clients
- Engaging in market trend analysis to predict financial market movements and advise clients accordingly
- Collaborating with senior staff to deliver quality financial advising services to clients
- Developing skills in financial forecasting to estimate future financial outcomes for projects and companies
- Participating in the preparation of merger accounting processes to integrate financial records of merged entities
What You Must Have
- Currently pursuing or have completed a Bachelor's degree
- Client service associate positions are entry-level roles intended for job seekers who are completing or have recently completed their final academic year of educational requirements
What Sets You Apart
- Preference for one of the following fields of study: Accounting, Accounting & Finance, Accounting & Technology, Economics and Finance, Finance
- Preference for a 3.3 overall GPA
- Demonstrating proficiency in financial statement analysis and industry trend analysis
- Excelling in merger accounting and M&A modeling techniques
- Utilizing skills in financial due diligence and business valuations
- Engaging in deal management and earnings quality assessments

Additional Details
The salary range for this position is: $61,000 - $100,000. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications and location, and applicable employment laws. All hired individuals are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
