They help clients navigate complex transactions and maximise value in their business deals. In capital markets accounting advisory services at PwC, you will focus on providing strategic guidance on a broad range of technical accounting, financial reporting, transaction structures and capital markets topics. You will advise clients on complex accounting advisory and financial reporting issues around deals (both public and private) and other transformational business events that may impact an organisation’s value.

As a Deals - Capital Markets & Accounting Advisory Services (CMAAS) Associate, you will engage with clients to provide strategic guidance on complex accounting issues, including financial reporting and regulatory compliance. You will be part of a dynamic team that helps clients navigate the intricacies of capital markets transactions, offering insights and solutions that drive their business forward. As an Associate, you will focus on learning and contributing to client engagements, developing your skills and knowledge to deliver quality work. You will build meaningful client connections, manage and inspire others, and grow your personal brand by deepening your technical knowledge of firm services and technology resources.

Responsibilities
- Supporting client engagements by contributing to the preparation and analysis of financial statements
- Assisting in the execution of capital markets transactions, including initial public offerings and mergers
- Applying Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) for accurate financial reporting
- Utilizing Alteryx for automation and data analysis to streamline accounting processes
- Coordinating project management tasks to achieve timely completion of client deliverables
- Engaging in market analysis to provide insights for strategic decision-making
- Participating in the development of accounting policies and advisory services for clients
- Collaborating with teams to address complex technical accounting issues and regulatory reporting requirements
- Preparing carve-out financial statements for organizational restructuring and divestitures
- Contributing to transaction advisory services by supporting deal structures and financial modeling activities
What You Must Have
- Currently pursuing or have completed a Bachelor's degree in Accounting
- Before starting full-time at PwC, meet the educational requirements to be eligible to sit for the CPA exam in your intended state of employment.
- Client service associate positions are entry-level roles intended for job seekers who are completing or have recently completed their final academic year of educational requirements

Additional Details
The salary range for this position is: $61,000 - $100,000. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications and location, and applicable employment laws. All hired individuals are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
